As a Female of Color and highly sensitive person, I know what it's like to feel awkward, misunderstood, anxious, confused and out of place in life and in social situations. I strongly believe that with humor, curiosity, support and compassion, being an awkward, highly sensitive, or empathic person doesn't have to feel like the end of the world and can actually be fun.
My journey providing mental health services began in 2000. Over the years, I have provided psychotherapy and counseling services to children, adults, couples and families. I have helped people who struggled with anxiety, depression, addictions, behavioral issues at home and school, relationship issues, trauma, suicidal thoughts and homelessness. Therapy sessions are tailored to the needs of each person. My therapeutic orientations and approaches include client-centered, play therapy, strengths-based, relational, behavioral, psychodynamic and holistic.
